Tyler was raised in Newhebron, MS. It was during his time there that Tyler surrendered his life to Christ and eventually surrendered his life to vocational ministry. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. During his time at USM and following graduation, Tyler held a variety of jobs in different aspsects of agriculture, the oil industry, and retail sales. He has also coached junior high athletics and taught middle school.
The Lord called Tyler and his wife, Brittany, to vocational ministry in 2010. He served as the Associate Pastor & Youth Minister at Newhebron Baptist Church (Lawrence County) and Pastor of White Oak Baptist Church (Smith County) prior to being called to serve as Pastor at Foxworth First in May of 2018.
Tyler and Brittany have 3 children (Jase, Jessa, & Kinsleigh), but it is not uncommon to see more children in thier home as they also serve as foster parents.
Tyler enjoys spending time with family, reading, hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He counts it his joy to serve the Lord by serving the local church!
